Even though it's hot outside ☀️ and there's still another six weeks of summer left, alas, "summer break" is ending for kiddos everywhere.

My daughter returns to school on Tuesday, and my son heads back to his college campus on Wednesday.

And yes, every year I'm inching closer to being an empty nester. 😭

Today, I'm taking my kids school shopping. Gotta soak in a bit more time together before the busy school season returns.

Skyrocketing Celiac Rates Among Older Populations

Doctors used to think celiac disease was a childhood disease, but this is no longer the case considering:

• One-third of all new celiac patients are 65 and up.
• The median age of a celiac disease diagnosis is 45 years old.

The stats don't lie. Celiac disease affects people of all ages and stages in life.

Why is this?

Is it the food supply? Is it poor gut health? Is it that "stomach" issues have been misdiagnosed for so long before people even knew how to say "celiac disease?"
